O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious - see V.2:2). ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #183)

This thread has been started else where and it goes into 800+ replies which is, as you shall see, great.

The Rules: say something that you are thankful for. It has to be one thing only and you cannot say another one until someone else says something they are thankful for.

After a while, you'll see how much Allah has blessed us. This list will never amount to how much Allah has really blessed us. You can say "thank God" instead of the Arabic.

I'll start: Alhamdulellah that I can say alhamdulellah.

Edit: also, it doesn't have to be something new that no one has said or different than what you have already said.
