O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious - see V.2:2). ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #183)

 Bismillah

 Salamu Alaikum

"YATLUUNAHUU HAQQA TILAAWATIHI - ULAAAIKA YUMINUUNA BIHI"(02:12)

"WHO READ IT WITH CORRECT PRONUNCIATION, BELIEVES IN IT."

I wish to draw the attention of my brethren to the above condition laid by our LORD ALLAH SUBHANAAHU WA TAALA on us slaves irrespective of our present leaning once we fall in the category as "those unto whom WE have given the Scripture".

What is so important ?

Well, I feel the core problem to many of our (Muslims) ILLS is due to our carelessness in our recitation hence we fail to achieve the goodness assured to us by the Glorious Mercy.

For instance, every muslim indeed recite his/her Kalima Shahadaat. Many times a day yet we see they indulge/submit to many wrong notions. Where did the promised protection go which was to ward off the evil from us now, that we have accepted THE ONLY TRUTH? Definitely something did go wrong somewhere. The Glorious Promise cannot be FALSE so perhaps something went wrong in our utterance of THE TRUTH, right? But we did say the exact words as reported from the Salaf. So it was not the content as well. Thus it leaves us with no option but to scrutinize our pronunciation, right?

LA ILAHA ILLAL-LAH....THERE IS NO ILAH BUT ALLAH.

Wait a minute I can distinctly hear the Glorious Name ALLAH (SWT) in the translation but somehow I am not sure I do in the Arabic version. Hmmm! Could this be the problem? Please do think about it. Does ILLAL-LAH sounds to you as ILLA ALLAH?

The Arabic language of QURANU AL MAJID is in its purest & simplest form, AlhumduLILLAAH. But somehow we have been made to recite the same in a cockney/slang tone. With this on going practise The Glorious Name most time gets indistinct in our utterance resulting us missing out on the goodness and hence so much suffering by us.

So as the 02:121 states that only those who recite with correct pronunciation shall BELIEVE, is it little wonder as to why so many continue to pursue the wrong even after declaring the right.

May ALLAH SUBHANAAHU WA TAALA have mercy on us slaves and may HE (SWT) THE GLORIOUS ONE be our GUIDE & HELPER in our quest to know HIS (SWT) GLORIOUS TRUTH, Amin.

Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)
And peace be unto those sent (to warn).
And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds!

 Bismillah

 Waalaikum Assalam

Yes, indeed. Have you had the chance to hear the Express Worshippers, Tazbee?

"SUBHANALA", Astagfiru ALLAH (SWT).

And, what about the very distinct vocal words used by almost all - Bismillah, Auozubillah, Subhana Kallah, so on.

07:180. Allah's are the fairest names. Invoke Him by them. And leave the company of those who blaspheme His names.
They will be requited what they do.

Alas! that is what they are getting.

May ALLAH SUBHANAAHU WA TAALA have mercy on us and help us save our selves from the Fire prepared for the wrong doers, Amin.

Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)
And peace be unto those sent (to warn).
And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds!

17:82. And We reveal of the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for believers...........

Thus to achieve the promised healing & mercy we have to be believers first. And, like one link to another - for us to be believers we need to recite with correct pronunciation, Insha ALLAH (SWT).

Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)
And peace be unto those sent (to warn).
And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds!
